The food is authentic, and the prices are reasonable at this little Volcano Village find. A steaming-hot plate of curry or a dish of pad thai noodles is the perfect antidote to a chilly day on the volcano. The chicken satay is excellent—the peanut dipping sauce the perfect match of sweet and spicy. Be careful when you order, as "medium" is more than spicy enough even for hard-core chili addicts. The service is warm and friendly, and the dining room is pleasant, with white tablecloths, Thai art, and a couple of silk wall hangings.

This has got to be the absolutely best Thai food I have ever had! This is a great if not appropriate stop after visiting the Volcanos National Park. I agree that you should order mild. I am very used to the heat in Mexican food, but I had to admit the medium made my eyelids sweat. Service is top notch, friendly, and quick without feeling hurried or that you need to clear a table. If you only eat in one restaurant on the Big Island, this one is a do not miss. I make a point to take all my visitors from the mainland here.
