Peaberry & Galette Review

This little creperie is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The menu includes Illy espresso, teas, excellent sweet and savory crepes, and rich desserts like lemon cheesecake and chocolate mousse that are made fresh daily. The small venue has a relaxed, urban-café vibe, and is a nice place to hang for a bit if you're waiting for a movie at the theater next door, or just feel like taking a break from paradise to sip a decent espresso and flip through the latest W.

    This restaurant -- more like a small cafe or bistro is at the southern end of Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. The food is mostly crepes -- dessert, and main course crepes -- as large as a dinner plate -- ranging in price from $8-$12. They are very different from normal restaurant fare and delicious. Once we found it, we made sure to return. They also make fresh desserts and scones/pastries -- only had one scone -- but it was delicious.

    The atmosphere is plain/functional, not dark and romantic -- but if you like good food, I would recommend it.
