Norio's is great, but it's very pricey for sushi and there are sushi restaurants of equal or higher caliber with lower prices in Kona (Kenichi Pacific), or north of Kohala in Hawi (Sushi Rock). Still, if you're staying at one of the resorts nearby and don't feel like taking a 30- to 40-minute drive for food, Norio's is a solid choice. Sashimi and sushi are lovingly prepared with the freshest possible fish (both from the ocean and from the numerous aqua farms on the island). The flounder, ahi, and abalone are not to be missed. Some equally delicious hot dishes include baked sea scallops and miso butterfish. The assortment of tropical drinks is tasty, as is the sinfully good chocolate fondue, served with an assortment of tropical fruits.
