The market-driven menu changes regularly here, but expect the sort of fusion fare you'd find in a top-notch New York or San Francisco restaurant. The added bonus is that you can sit outside and enjoy balmy breezes. If moi, favored by Hawaiian royalty, is on the menu, go for it; other standouts include the grilled kalua pork and cheese sandwiches with Waimea tomato soup, Wong's take on traditional Hawaiian poke (ahi sashimi mixed with onions, avocado, and ponzu sauce), and soy braised short ribs. Prices seem reasonable for the quality of the food and the location, and you could easily make a meal out of a selection of pupu. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen, and servers are knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent kitchen, but service level doesn't match its culinary quality and innovation. We weren't even able to order wine until after the first course was served.
