A plantation past is reflected in the wooden boardwalks and tin-roof buildings of this small, struggling town. It's fun to poke through old dusty shops such as Glass from the Past, where you'll find an assortment of old bottles. The Woodshop Gallery/Café showcases local artists.

This is where the Palms Cliff House is located and the scenic 4 mile Onomeo Drive. You also have to pass this town on the way to Akaka Falls. Nothing really to get out of your car for unless you're staying there, but definitely worth doing the scenic drive.
