Fodor's Review:
This open, airy dining room has a great view of Hilo Bay. Servers are dressed in colorful kimonos, and Japanese art and music add to the ambience. The menu offers a wide choice of authentic Japanese cuisine including beef, pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. Try the soba noodles, the teriyaki steak, and the grilled butterfish marinated in a rich miso-soy sauce. A sushi bar provides a full range of wonderful and varied sushi and sashimi. The restaurant is adjacent to the Liliuokalani Gardens.
