Fodor's Review:

A comfortable home with three detached guest suites, this 3-acre property in the Kohala Estates lives up to the English translation of its name, "House of Relaxation." From its bluff above the ocean you can watch the sun rise over Mauna Kea and set over the Pacific, and view the sparkling beauty of Hawaii's night sky. It's minutes away from dining and shopping at Waimea and the attractions of the Kohala Coast as well. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, if not terribly beautiful; the views and grounds make up for what the rooms lack, as does the price in this neck of the woods (less than half the nightly rate of the Kohala Coast resorts). Continental breakfast is included. There's a two-night minimum if you book less than a week in advance; a $25 fee applies to single-night bookings made within seven days of arrival. Pros: detached suites for maximum privacy, panoramic ocean views from private lanai, good price for the neighborhood. Cons: not within walking distance to restaurants, no pool.
