Kona Mix Plate

Fodor's Review:

Don't be surprised if you find yourself rubbing elbows with lots of hungry locals at this inconspicuous Kona lunch spot. The antithesis of a tourist trap, this casual island favorite with fluorescent lighting and wooden tables is all about the food. Try the teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, or katsu—a chicken breast fried with bread crumbs and served with a sweet sauce.
