King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

Fodor's Review:

Stroll through the high-ceiling lobby of this Kailua-Kona fixture to view displays of Hawaiian artifacts and mounted marlin from Hawaiian International Billfish tournaments (from when Kailua Pier was still the weigh-in point). These "granders," marlin weighing 1,000 pounds or more, are the big attraction here. Classes in Hawaiian arts and crafts are given regularly.
