Nani Mau Gardens

Fodor's Review:

The name means "forever beautiful" in Hawaiian, and that's a good description of this 20-acre botanical garden filled with several varieties of fruit trees and hundreds of varieties of ginger, orchids, anthuriums, and other exotic plants. A botanical museum details the history of Hawaiian flora, and guided tours by tram are available. There's also a café with a lunch buffet.

  • Cost: $10, tram tour $15
  • Open: Daily 8-5
