Fodor's Review:

The more than 50 leafy banyan trees with aerial roots dangling from their limbs were planted some 60 to 70 years ago by visiting celebrities. You'll find such names as Amelia Earhart and Franklin Delano Roosevelt on plaques affixed to the trees.

Make a morning or afternoon out of strolling the Lili'uokalani Gardens and walking down Banyan Drive. Stop and get your feet wet at the tide pools. A nice time for the kids too.

Nothing to go out of your way to see, but if you're near there, it's worth a drive. Popular with locals.
