Fodor's Review

This respected slow-food restaurant in Holualoa Village features fine dining in a lush, open-air setting beneath the shade of an old monkeypod tree. The proprietors, top chefs from the Bay Area, strive to use all local and organic ingredients for such dishes as ahi succotash and Big Island roasted pumpkin soup. In addition to serving only local meats plus vegetables harvested each morning, the restaurant makes its own organic pastas, baked goods, and desserts.
