At the largest oceanfront resort hotel on the island, the buildings are spread across 15 verdant acres. Popular with families, the inn accommodates children under 17 free when they stay with parents or grandparents. Packages include summer family-focused arrangements and romantic getaways. The restaurant offers basic, hearty fare, including an all-you-can-eat Saturday night seafood buffet. As of this writing, a major renovation was underway. Pros: beachfront location is a plus; staff is responsive. Cons: pre-renovation, some rooms are reportedly dingy.

2 Things to consider.
You will not enjoy the "Beach" for swimming, laying out, etc. right at this hotel. There is large rock barrier to climb over and it is only available at low tide. Just head down to the public access areas - about 1.5 miles.
Don't expect the Ritz. Think Motel6 style room.
BUT - At $140 per - I enjoyed a few quiet mornings sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise over the Atlantic.
