Maritime History Museum Review
At the restored 1936 Historic Coast Guard Station, this new center is geared as much to kids as adults. It features the life of a "Coastie" in the early 1940s through personal accounts of the military history of St. Simons Island and has illustrative displays on the ecology of the islands off the coast of Georgia.
