This Spanish-style inn sits in a prime spot by the lighthouse, only minutes on foot from the village and the beaches. Rooms are nothing fancy, but they're clean and comfortable. Suites have whirlpools, and apartments are fully equipped. There's a two-night minimum during high season. Discounts are available for longer stays. Pros: excellent location. Cons: basic rooms.

I have stayed at many 5 star hotels as well as resorts all over the world, they have nothing on the St. Simons Inn. I've stayed in the penthouse as well as rooms 115 and 117, the rooms were clean, spacious, well decorated. The overall atmosphere was the best experience I have encountered on that Island. This Inn has a unique setting, during my stay in the penthouse, I spent the mornings on the balcony with the telescope, from there I saw a spectacular view of boats, it was breathtaking. My son stayed in one of the rooms this summer and left a pair of slacks, three months later he called and asked if they had been left there, the guy pulled them out of the lost and found, amazing. I cannot say enough about this little Inn, it is where I stay everytime I go to the Island.

Better than we expected. Very nice rooms and good service. You can tell this place has recently been remodeled...it still has that new smell.
