This white-frame, Gothic-style church was built by shipwrights and consecrated in 1886 following an earlier structure's desecration by Union troops. It is surrounded by historic live oaks, dogwoods, and azaleas. The interior has beautiful stained-glass windows and several handmade pews. The cemetery grounds are the final resting place for Golden Isles historical fiction writer Eugenia Price.

Beautiful setting with large oaks and moss hanging down all around. The interior of the church is beautiful and the stained glass windows have a story to tell. What I enjoyed is the old cemetery directly behind and around the church, which you are free to meander through. The church is still a working church, and when I arrived, they had just finished conducting services. Overall, a very enjoyable stop.
