Coastal Isles and the Okefenokee Sights

Neptune Park Review

Named after St. Simons slave Neptune Small, this park in the village on the island's south end has picnic tables, beach access, and a large recreation area meant to delight families. The Neptune Park Fun Zone has a free playground, a swimming pool ($7 per person) that opens in the warmer months, and a year-round miniature golf course ($7 per round). A newly renovated pier, good for fishing or watching ships roll in, is adjacent to the park. Restrooms are in the library beside the visitor center.
