Each room is unique in this immaculate property, a stately blue Victorian mansion with a wraparound veranda. Antiques and period reproductions decorate the public spaces and guest rooms. Thoughtful details include designer fabrics, Egyptian-cotton bath towels, goose-down pillows, evening turndown service, and homemade cranberry, orange, or blueberry bread for breakfast. Accommodations are spread among the main inn, a pool house, a garden cottage, and a carriage house. Afternoon tea and lemonade socials are part of the fun of this inn in the downtown historic district.
