Fodor's Review

Once an Indian burial ground, the lovely tree-shaded park is named for Robert Emmet, a late-18th-century Irish patriot and orator. The park contains monuments to German Hussars, fallen soldiers from the Vietnam War, and the Celtic Cross, among others. Various small festivals are held in the park each year.
