Savannah Marriott Riverfront Review

One of the few high-rise hotels in Savannah—and the major anchor of the east end of the River Street area—the Marriott delivers on all its trademark standards. The professional management and friendly staffers mean the hotel is geared for business, while still offering some resort amenities. The views from riverfront rooms with balconies ($30 additional) are truly magical at night. Service is elevated on the concierge level, which offers a complimentary breakfast and continuous coffee service but, alas, no wine or other alcohol. The handsome suites are among the recently renovated, but "suite" may be an embellishment since the bedroom is separated just by a partition.
