Fodor's Review

A few miles east of the Historic District, this wildlife preserve is home to a variety of animal habitats spread along a 2-mile-long path. Several coastal habitats are represented, including the wetlands that are home to alligators, herons, and cranes. Bobcats, wolves, buffalo, armadillo, and assorted birds of prey are also on exhibit. Be sure to bring a camera and comfortable shoes.
