Once a mechanic's garage, Sol occupies the charmed space that was formerly the local staple Queeny's Cafe. The dining room is mostly outdoors, which can present challenges during the more extreme summer and winter months, but it makes for a delightful dining experience during Savannah's many months of temperate weather. Enjoy an Asian/Latino fusion menu and affordable, gourmet specials with flair. Don't miss their salsa sampler served with their addicting homemade tortilla chips. The bahn mi shrimp tacos are highly recommended, as is the skirt steak salad, served over a head of seeared romaine lettuce. The bar pumps out some seriously tasty cocktails, including the Sol Punch and the best margarita in town. Opt for the spicy rendition, mixed up with jalapeno tequila that is steeped in-house starting each Monday; it gets spicier as the week goes on!
