Local Ted Dennard's Savannah Bee Company has been featured in such national magazines as O, Vogue, InStyle, and Newsweek, and with good reason—the locally cultivated honey and bath products are simply wonderful. You can sample and buy multiple varieties of honey, including Tupelo, Acacia, and raw honeycombs. Don't miss the hot and fresh biscuits and honey, as well as decadent honey lattes, which were recently featured on the Travel Channel. Though there is a new location on River Street, be sure to stop in their flagship store on Broughton Street. Children enjoy the life-size bee hive.
