Originally the home of a Confederate officer who died at nearby Fort McAllister, this charming inn consists of three historic buildings: the main house was built in 1852, and two adjacent buildings were constructed in the 1890s. The suites are perfectly and professionally appointed and adorned with original art from the owners' expansive personal collection. Some rooms have private porches or balconies. This is a great hub of operation for anyone looking to relocate to Savannah, as the owners run a nearby boutique real estate firm. They are also a great point of contact for extended stay accommodations and larger vacation rentals.
