Sunset Applause
Posted by teacake from Atlanta, GA on 2/14/07
My trip to the GA coast is not complete without having dinner at this restaurant. The last time I was there there was a moment of silence as the sun set and then everyone actually applauded. This is the most romantic place I know to have a great meal with a sunset view of the river and marsh and when you leave be sure to experience the magic of the sprawling branches of the live oaks in the historic district.

Fantastic fresh seafood in an unpretentious setting- what more could you ask for?

Latitude 31 serves some of the best seafood you'll ever taste. Start with a cold beer or rum runner in the bar, with a dozen oysters (or two) on the half shell. Move into the dining room for the broiled grouper, scallops, and shrimp combo. You will grinning like an idiot with every bite. I think Lars may have ordered a cheeseburger or something.

Tourist Traps Strike Again!
Posted by Lars from Valley, AL on 5/9/06
Food was average, price was ridiculous for what it was, portions were somewnat small and salad was offered but not included. Waitress was nice but very busy. The atmosphere reminded me of the cafeteria at my high school. Location was very good.
