The Smith House Review
Just a block from the town square, the family-owned Smith House has been serving guests for generations. Its three nearby villas have balconies that look out on the square. The hotel offers a continental breakfast, and lunch and dinner are available at its popular family-style restaurant. During remodeling several years ago a gold mine was found 30 feet under the property. Part of a shaft was left uncovered and provides a glimpse into the "underbelly" of the historic property.
