Choose either the comfortable mountain lodge, with 100 renovated lodge rooms, a one-, two-, or three-bedroom cottage (some with a fireplace), or one of the tent or RV campsites at this state-run accommodation within Unicoi State Park. You can fish, canoe, or swim in the 53-acre lake, hike on 12 miles of trails, bike on a 7.5-mile-loop trail, soar through the trees on a zipline, or take part in educational and nature events led by park rangers. In summer and fall, reservations are required and can be made up to 12 months in advance. The on-site restaurant serves local favorites with buffets available on the weekends. There's also the Smith Creek Tavern for a quick bite and brew.
