This hot spot is helmed by local super-chef Kevin Rathbun, who once bested Bobby Flay on Iron Chef. The space's high ceilings, white tablecloths, exposed brick, and expensive dishes described as "second mortgage" plates could seem high-falutin', but Rathbun's maintains a coziness with its fine cuisine. Go for a signature steak or stick to the "small plates" menu for a more complete tour of the kitchen. The well-sauced lamb scaloppine with cubes of pancetta is divine, as is the side of charred corn and gouda.
