Fodor's Review

Chef Gerry Klaskala's talent is best captured by his love of rustic and hearty "slow foods"—braises, stews, roasts, and chops cooked over a roll-top French grill. Pork shoulder is presented with a delicious red pepper and white corn succotash and crisp Vidalia onions. Signature dishes include a lobster cocktail and zinfandel-braised beef short rib. Don't miss renowned pastry chef Kathryn King's mouthwatering dessert menu, including Valrhona-chocolate-cream pie with Drambuie

sauce.

Nice evening out

Went to Aria last year for a special night out. Food was great esp. the lobster bisque. Service was attentive and always quick to refill our wine glasses. It was upscale but not stuffy. On the night we went, about 60% of the men wore jackets, so you can wear a jacket or it seems dress smart/casual if you prefer

Trendy Atmosphere Great Food

Every time we eat at Aria's I can't stop thinking about the food for days! Found the restaurant next to the bridal shop I purchased my dress at. We've taken several groups there including my husband's birthday party. Well enjoyed. Sort of South Beach style surroundings but the food is mouth-watering. Try the pork!

Cozy on a Tuesday night

We were a group of six women celebrating 50th birthdays and had a great time. The restaurant was not full, lucky for us as we felt the noise level would have been a bit much if it had been - hence the suggestion that weeknights might be best here. All entrees were delicious, as was dessert.

An Atlantan's Favorite

There are MANY, MANY restaurants in Atlanta that are wonderful and this is certainly one of them. A very local spot, very cozy, and has a South Beach interior. TRY THE MONKFISH with risotto, it is the best on the menu, followed by the assortment of chocolate deserts. Recommend reservations and if weather is permitting, sit outside. Near many Buckhead Hotels.

New Name, New Menu, Same Quality

Hedgerose is now called Aria. The prices are lower now, and the portions more generous, but the quality hasn't suffered.
