In a spot that has seen its share of failed restaurants—anybody remember Gringo's?—this local barbecue business is making a go of it with specialties like brisket, pulled pork, fried pickles, fried mac-and-cheese, and an artery cloggin take on tater tots, served smothered in Brunswick stew and melted cheese. Try to get a seat on the patio, a great place to soak up sun and sip a cold beer.
