Hammonds House

Fodor's Review:

The handsome Eastlake Victorian house that belonged to Otis Thrash Hammonds, as well as his fine collection of Victorian furnishings and his paintings, are the focal point of this museum. The permanent and visiting exhibitions are devoted chiefly to works by African-American artists, although art from anywhere in the African-influenced world can be a focus.
