Fodor's Review

Marble bathrooms with separate soaking tubs and glass showers, 300-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens, plush bathrobes and slippers, and twice-daily housekeeping are some of the highlights of the traditionally styled rooms in this hotel, the flagship for the Atlanta-based chain. The Bourbon Bar has a wide selection of its namesake liquor, including some rare vintages. Restaurant Southern Art serves upscale farm-to-table dishes, and there's excellent French food at Au

Pied de Cochon, which has outdoor terrace seating overlooking Peachtree Street.

Enjoyed my Stay

Stayed at the Inter-Continental for seven days on a business trip last week, this is (for now), the best hotel in Atlanta, my company had a special rate with the hotel, which was around $200.00 each night including the 15% sales tax, which was a wonderful price for such a top quality hotel.

Hotel is great, but valet's fingers sticky?

My wife and I stayed two nights in December of 2005 and the hotel was great! However, our $1,000+ GPS system was stolen from our car while in the care of the valet service. There was no forced entry. The valet service wrote us a letter saying they are not responsible for loose items in the car. Looks like Civil court time!

The Best Hotel in Atlanta!

This is a new hotel which opened last year. The rooms are very spacious, and offer flat screen TV's, spacious marble baths with seperate tub and shower, the hotel's lobby is very nice and it's close to buckhead shopping. Weekday nights are pricey ($319 a night plus tax), weekends drop to $225 with a AAA discount.
