Little Five Points and Inman Park

About 4 miles east of Downtown, the Inman Park neighborhood was laid out by famous developer Joel Hurt in 1889. Since then it has faded and flourished a number of times, which explains the vast gaps in opulence evident in much of the architecture here. Huge, ornate Victorian mansions sit next to humble bungalows. But no matter the exact address or style of home—be it modest or massive—Inman Park now commands considerable cachet among many different constituents, including young families, empty nesters, and the LGBTQ community. Nearby you'll also find the delightfully countercultural Little Five Points area, with funky boutiques, neighborhood bars, and homegrown eateries.
