Westin Atlanta Airport
4736 Best Rd., Atlanta, Georgia, 30337, United StatesWhy We Like It
For an airport hotel, the Westin Airport Atlanta offers a more well-rounded experience with nice amenities and services, fitness activities and a kids club. It's still quite far from all major Atlanta attractions so it wouldn't be a top choice as a home base for a vacation to Atlanta, but perhaps the affordable room rates and added value make it a great option for families on a budget.
Fodor's Expert Review
The 500 guest rooms feature Westin's signature "heavenly bed" along with a flat-screen TV and Starbucks Coffee. Several airlines allow you to check your bags and receive a boarding pass from the hotel lobby.
Tip Traveling with kids? Take advantage of the Westin Kids Club (for children ages 4-12) to keep them occupied with activities including arts and crafts, swimming, movies, sports, karaoke and sports games. The kids club is available in half-day or full-day sessions.

Room
Traditional rooms have fairly basic decor with the famed Heavenly Bed, a spacious desk area, complimentary basic Wi-Fi, bottled water and Starbucks coffee. Branded WestinWORKOUT rooms make it easier than ever to keep up with your fitness regiment with in-room treadmills or spin bikes.
Bathroom
Bathrooms have large, backlit mirrors, rainhead shower and tub combos, and offer Westin Heavenly Bath products.
Lobby
The lobby is drenched in natural light because the entire front of the hotel is comprised of floor-to-ceiling windows. There are multiple seating areas with lounge chairs and tables, and Martini's Lounge sits right in the center with high-back chairs and tables, and large television screens to watch sports games. There's also a nine-screen video wall in the lobby if sports aren't your preference.
You Should Know Although the bags check-in desk within the Westin Atlanta Airport hotel is a complete game-changer, the service is only available for domestic flights on Delta and American Airlines, and you must drop off your bags at least 2 hours before your flight, between the hours of 7 am and 1 pm.
Pool
There's a connected and heated indoor/outdoor pool and sundeck, as well as an indoor whirlpool.
Gym
The WestinWORKOUT fitness studio is spacious, with cross-training machines, stationary bikes, treadmills and free weights. If you prefer your workout outdoors, there's the 1.5- and 4.5-mile RunWESTIN program and printed maps created in partnership New Balance. After your run, you're welcomed back to the hotel with a fresh towel and cold bottled water. Even if you forgot your workout gear, Westin has you covered. For $5 per day, the hotel has a gear lending with New Balance to provide apparel, shoes and socks (that are yours to keep), right to your guest room.
Dining
Cecilia's Southern Table Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the cuisine leans southern but is pretty typical of an airport hotel. Expect appetizers like fried green tomatoes and Savannah corn and crab chowder, pizza, salads, sandwiches and dinner entrees including chicken carbonara and creole shrimp and grits. There's also Revive, a Starbucks grab n' go in the lobby for a quick breakfast and coffee.
Drinking
Martini's Bar serves up fine wine, top-shelf liquor and imported beer. In the heart of the lobby atrium, it's a lively gathering spot for both locals and those just passing through. For non-alcoholic beverages, check out Westin Fresh by The Juicery, a curated assortment of pressed juices and smoothies.
What's Nearby
Getting Around
Westin Atlanta Airport offers hotel guests a complimentary shuttle service to and from all domestic terminals at the airport along with rental car agencies at the airport, 24/7. Shuttle service to the nearest MARTA station is complimentary as well. Self parking costs $19 per day and valet is $24 for overnight parking. As far as attractions, there's not much nearby so a car is recommended if you plan to stay at this hotel for longer than a few days.
Restaurants
The only restaurant within walking distance is within another area airport hotel. Bentleys Steakhouse at the Atlanta Airport Marriott is a good option if you're in need of a formal setting (1-minute walk). A 4-minute drive away is the Urban Foodie Feed Store, a seasonal southern restaurant housed in a former feed store. Head there for lunch and dinner options like fried chicken and waffles, braised beef short rib and blackened grilled salmon.
