Fodor's Review

In this convention- and family-friendly hotel, there's ample meeting and exhibit space, a pool under a retractable roof, and fine dining with delicious takes on Southern fare. The rooms are spacious relative to other Downtown options and functional. Families will appreciate thoughtful touches such as tabletop checkers games and complimentary swim diapers for the pool. The lush courtyard and relaxing mezzanine set against brick arches offer respite. If you’re traveling with kids, ask for a room in the North Tower, courtyard side, which offers easier access to the pool.

making you feel at home

From the moment I entered the Sheraton in Atlanta, I was struck by the genuine warmth of everyone I met -- from the desk clerk to the maids in the hallway. Smiles that were honest. Everyone truly seemed to care about whether I was having a good time. By my third night there, I knew people's names, and I had met the manager. It was obvious after that meeting that he had a hand in making sure that his visitors got the royal treatment. I don't know

what kind of training they require of their staff, but whatever it is, it made me feel at home.

Hospitality Plus

We attended a convention at this hotel in August 2012, our first trip to Atlanta; we were amazed at the hospitality and outstanding service from the staff and everyone we met. The hotel was walking distance to the Olympic Village, the World of Coca-Cola, and we thoroughly enjoyed this visit.
