Fodor's Review

Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and produced by George Lucas, the 18-minute 3-D film stars pop legend Michael Jackson as Captain EO and Oscar-winner Anjelica Huston as the Supreme Leader of a colorless planet of droids from the dark side. After an opener that mimics space-fantasy action scenes from Lucas's epic Star Wars series, EO's motley crew of furry space creatures lands on the planet and magically transforms into an electronic band, prepared to shed light on the Supreme Leader and her robotic forces of darkness.

Music and light save the day as evil robot guards transform into dancers with hair and costumes straight from the ’80s. Young children may be frightened by the dark nature of the film and its special effects.

For people with disabilities : The attraction is wheelchair accessible, although you must transfer to a theater seat to experience some special effects. Equipped with reflective captioning and for assisted-listening, video-captioning, or audio-description devices. The preshow area has closed-captioned TV monitors for the show intro featuring a behind-the-scenes look at how Lucas and Coppola made the film. Guests with service animals should check with a show host before entering. Come early or late, or get a FastPass+.
