Liberty Tree Tavern

Fodor's Review

This "tavern" is dry, but it's a prime spot on the parade route, so you can catch a good meal while you wait. Order Colonial-period comfort food for lunch like hearty pot roast cooked with a Cabernet wine–and-mushroom sauce, or turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes. Dinner is the family-style Patriot's Platter, with turkey, carved beef, sliced pork, and sides. The restaurant is decorated in lovely Williamsburg colors with Early American–style antiques and lots of

brightly polished brass. Each of the six dining rooms commemorates a historical U.S. figure, like Betsy Ross or Benjamin Franklin.

The best food in Magic Kingdom

After experiencing a lack-luster character dinner at The Contemporary Hotel and another less than desirable meal at The Pepper Market at the Coronado Springs Resort, we took a chance on this one and it paid off. The food is a straightforward menu-ham, turkey and dressing (stuffing for Yankees), roast beef, mash potatoes, green beans, macaroni 'n cheese, and a commendable salad with vinegarette-based dressing. The service was great! The characters

were very attentive to the children and parents. LT is a nice break from the standard park food-pizza, hot dogs, nachos, burgers, etc. I would definitely go back.
