Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano

  • Italian

Updated 04/30/2014

Fodor's Review

To replace the energy you've no doubt depleted by miles of theme-park walking, you can load up on carbs at this casual Italian restaurant that looks like an old warehouse. Good main courses include spaghetti with meatballs, and wood-grilled chicken in a four-cheese sauce with pasta and vegetables. Wood-fired flatbreads are available as an entrée choice here (a great bargain at $13 and up) with toppings ranging from grilled chicken with ricotta and onion to wild mushroom.

The sangria is popular. Ask for the Fantasmic! dinner package if you want priority seating for the show.

Fantastic

I was at this restaurant the other day with 7 other people in my party and the restaurant was fairly crowded and we got our lunch in less than 10 minutes plus the food was great.

Loved it!!

Had dinner at Mama Melrose's before the Fantasmic show, and it was easily our favorite meal of the entire trip! Great food, particularly the oak grilled pork tenderloin and the pizzas, wonderful service and great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back again and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent meal while visiting the parks.

MGM's best kept secret!

This is the best resteraunt in MGM. It's tucked away in a far corner of the park but it's well worth searching out. For about the same price it would cost to eat at one of the fast food resteraunts you can sit down and enjoy an incredible meal with amazing service. Atmosphere eminates from the moment you walk in the door, very well decorated, there is even an opera singer who is funny too. This is a GEM! Definatly my favorite resteraunt at MGM.
