Downtown Disney Marketplace

Fodor's Review:

Although the Marketplace offers little in the line of typical nightlife, there's hardly a more enjoyable place for families to spend a quiet evening window-shopping, enjoying ice cream at a courtyard café, or strolling among eclectic Disney stores. Aside from this, there's not much "nightlife," per se, but Cap'n Jack's Restaurant (407/828-3971) is a nice, quiet waterfront restaurant where you can gulp down some oysters or sip on a huge strawberry margarita made with strawberry tequila. For a sweeter tooth, the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop makes a nice after-dinner stop for sundaes, malts, and shakes. Both Rainforest Café and T-Rex: A Prehistoric Family Adventure combine theme dining and shopping which includes favorites such as The Art of Disney, Team Mickey Sports, and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where children can get princess makeovers complete with pixie-dust "reveals."
