Some would argue that the phrase "authentic Irish pub at Disney's Pleasure Island" is oxymoronic, particularly when that pub seats 600 people. But if Irish grub's your thing, Raglan's is on target: the shepherd's pie is prepared with the traditional beef, lamb, and mashed potatoes and jazzed up with house spices. And you don't have to settle for plain fish-and-chips here (though you can for $17); there's also panfried lemon sole and chips. You can also get lots of hearty soups and plenty of Irish beer and whiskey. Three massive and ornate bars, all imported from Ireland and all more than a century old, help anchor the pub. The entertainment (which runs from 9 AM until 2 AM Monday-Saturday) alone makes this place worth the visit. A good, four-person Irish house band, Tuskar Rock, performs nightly as does Danielle Fitzpatrick, herself an Irish import, who performs lively folk dances on stage each evening.
