The international tapas-style menu draws on the best foods of the Mediterranean—from Italy to Greece to Lebanon with dishes ranging from grilled steak kebabs with multigrain pilaf and harissa (a piquant red pepper paste that is a staple in North African cooking) to Italian lemon-garlic shrimp linguine. Another good main dish is Israeli-inspired: the pan-roasted red snapper fillet with couscous, chorizo, wilted greens, and spicy tomato broth. Oak-fired flatbreads with toppings such as roasted peppers make stellar appetizers. For dessert, try the mascarpone cheesecake or the house-made Italian gelato. There are also great breakfast offerings, like an Italian frittata (omelet) for $10, and flatbreads with scrambled eggs, roasted red peppers, spinach and other Mediterranean-style ingredients.

The selection and quality of the food is excellent. The appetizer of mussels with chorizo in a saffron infused cream sauce was excellent as were the entrees of white bean moussaka and the chicken with an arugula and shaved fennel salad.
If you are convinced that Mediterranean food has to be pasta and meatballs with a red sauce, go elsewhere.
