An ingenious waterfall tumbles off the covered entrance and into a stone fountain surrounded by palm trees. Although not huge, rooms are upbeat, cozy, and contemporary, with flat-screen TVs and work tables, and many on the upper floors have great views of Downtown Disney, which is just a short walk away. The hotel offers two good eateries: Andiamo Italian Bistro, specializing in pasta and grilled seafood, and a Benihana Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. Guests can enter Disney parks an hour before they officially open. The Hilton is one of the Orlando hotels certified by the Florida Green Lodging program, meaning it follows prescribed environmental standards for recycling, and water and electric consumption. Pros : close to Downtown Disney; because this is an "official" Disney hotel (although not a Disney-operated one) you get the same early-entrance privileges to Disney Parks; free shuttle bus; kids program. Cons : pricier than similar lodgings farther from Disney; inconvenient to Universal and downtown Orlando.
