China

Fodor's Review:

A shimmering red-and-gold, three-tier replica of Beijing's Temple of Heaven towers over a serene Chinese garden, an art gallery displaying treasures from the People's Republic, a spacious emporium devoted to Chinese goods, and two restaurants. The gardens, planted with a native Chinese tallow tree, water lilies, bamboo, and a 100-year-old weeping mulberry tree, are one of the most peaceful spots in the World Showcase. Piped-in traditional Chinese music flows gently over the peaceful hush of the gardens, which come alive with applause and cheers when the remarkable Dragon Legend Acrobats tumble into a roped-off area for their breathtaking act. China's popular Nine Dragons Restaurant reopened recently with a redesigned dining room, new costumes for servers, and new menu items including shrimp summer rolls, Chinese chicken salad, and salt-and-pepper shrimp with spinach noodles.
