If you're an Anglophile and you love a beer so thick you could stand a spoon up in your mug, this is the place to soak up both the suds and British street culture. "Wenches" serve up traditional English fare—fish-and-chips, cottage or shepherd's pie (ground lamb with onions, carrots, and peas, topped with mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese), and, at times, the ever-popular bangers and mash (sausage over mashed potatoes). Scotch egg makes a good appetizer. Vegetarians can always find one item adapted for them, such as vegetable cottage pie. For dessert, try the sticky toffee pudding. The terrace has a splendid view of IllumiNations.

We made a priority seating reservation for this restaurant for two reasons - their covered porch has a respectable view of IllumiNations, and it was my daughter's birthday. So we combined those two elements and made our reservation here. The food was excellent, although I thought we were never going to be seated despite our reservation. Our server brought out a piece of cake with a card for my daughter's birthday dessert which was nice and unexpected.
They allowed us to go out and select seats on the deck for the viewing as the deck had been closed due to heavy rain earlier in the evening. The only negative part of the experience - and that depends on your view - was going to the bathroom. The bathrooms are located in the bar section, and to reach them you have to squeeze your way through a bunch of English locals having a rowdy night at the pub. I was sure I would be drenched in beer as I navigated the distance between points A and B, but I made it back to the restaurant section with only a story to tell.
