Magic Kingdom

Services for People with Disabilities

The Magic Kingdom gets decent marks from visitors with disabilities. Level entrances and ramps provide wheelchair access. Frontierland is the only area of the park, aside from Main Street, that has sidewalk curbs; there are ramps by the Mile Long Bar and east of Frontierland Trading Post.

Pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations. It gives mobility details and notes where you can use handheld-captioning, assisted-listening, video-captioning, and other devices (free but require a deposit). The guide also indicates which attractions have sign-language interpretation and when, which attractions don't permit service animals, and locations of designated "break" areas for animals.

At the hub by the Tip Board across from Casey's Corner, there's a large Braille map of the park. You can rent wheelchairs only at the park's entrance before passing under the Train Station for $12 daily, $10 a day for multiday rental. Electronic Convenience Vehicles (ECV) are $50 per day plus a refundable $20 security deposit. Neither wheelchairs nor ECVs can be booked ahead, so arrive early to rent them—ECV availability is limited.
