For golfers or those who just want to escape the hustle and bustle and relax in a luxurious villa, this deluxe resort gives you both, at a surprisingly reasonable price. Golfers will appreciate the choice of courses, and all the comforts of home after a day on the course. Non-golfers will love the serene views over greens and fairways, while sitting on the balcony of a luxury villa or hotel suite.

This 2,300-acre AAA Four Diamond-rated golf resort built on the rolling hills of a former orange grove, in the remote countryside west of Orlando, is 15 minutes by car southwest of Disney and 45 minutes from LEGOLAND, and houses courses designed by golf greats Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson. The Reunion Grande resort hotel, and dozens of villas and homes are designed and decorated to satisfy the most discerning guest. Shuttle buses take guests around the property, delivering them to nine pools, the five-acre water park complex, the spa, tennis courts, and golf clubhouses.

Room
Whether you choose a one-or-two-bedroom suite at the Reunion Grande resort or a villa on the golf course, the decoration and amenities are all splendidly plush, with traditional furniture in dark woods and soft beige with subtle color accents. The resort was developed as a residential and vacation-home complex, but its condo-style villas and freestanding estate-style houses are available on a per-night basis, too. The views are all green-velvet golf courses. Kitchens feature granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances, and living areas, spacious enough for entertaining, are designed for comfortable relaxation after a day on the links.
Bathroom
The villas, whether on the golf course or in the Grande, have at least two deluxe bathrooms, with wet-room style showers, jacuzzi bathtubs, separate vanities and more doors separating the elements than you’d ever have thought possible.
Lobby
Soaring ceilings, twinkling chandeliers and white marble columns greet guests upon arrival, but this isn’t a lobby for hanging out in. Golf is the main course at this resort, and guests are there to play. The sushi bar in the hotel lobby is only open in the evenings, but offers coffee and pastry in the morning.
Pool
The many relaxing swimming pools are scattered across the resort, and the water park may be reached by shuttle. The park offers water slides, some wild enough to require a 42” height requirement, and a lazy river; lawn games such as giant checkers, giant Jenga, jump ropes, horseshoes and Hula Hoops; and scheduled activities for kids.
Spa
Located in one of the executive villas, the spa offers a cozy, homey atmosphere, in addition to different types of massage (a relief for those backs and shoulders after a day on the golf course), skin therapy, hair and nail care and a relaxation lounge.
Gym
The fitness center offers cardio and weight training equipment, and the resort also offers yoga, and bike rentals.
Dining
Eleven, the fine dining resort perched on the 11th floor at the Reunion Grande, offers a chef-driven menu with a focus on local produce, and meats, whether house made charcuterie or premium steaks. The view of the sunset is superb, and fireworks from the distant theme parks light up the night sky. On the first floor, Forte serves up dishes from Tuscany, and offers an extensive wine list. The sushi bar in the hotel lobby is only open in the evenings, but offers coffee and pastry in the morning. The Clubhouse, right next door to the Reunion Grande entrance, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual setting, perfect for golfers heading out for a round, or returning for a round of drinks.
Tip If you prefer, the concierge will shop for you and deliver groceries to your door.
Drinking
Eleven's bar serves inventive craft cocktails, and it has a wide list of wine by the glass. The Clubhouse offers a wide range of drinks served in a casual setting.

Getting Around
Loads of free valet parking on-site, which is good, since you’ll need a car. No public transportation this far out of Orlando, but an on-site only shuttle takes guests to activities at the resort. If golf is your prime interest, and theme parks are not, you could get by without a car. If you do want to get to the theme parks and don't have a car, a taxi or ride-share service might be convinced to venture this far from Orlando.
Restaurants
This remote golfer’s paradise is long on golf courses and short on nearby neighborhood restaurants or watering holes. But if you need a change of pace, and if you have a car, or can convince an Uber driver to come this far from Orlando, you could pop over to sample the restaurants at the nearby Omni Resort at Championsgate (10-minute drive) where you can sample authentic Chinese cuisine at Zen, or Italian delicacies at Trevi's. Or, if you are in the mood for an adventure, Disney Springs (15-minute drive) offers more than 50 eateries, drinking establishments and entertainment venues.
Bars
The nearby Omni Resort at Championsgate (10-minute drive) has several spots for drinks. Or, if you want a wider selection, Disney Springs(15-minute drive) is home to dozens of places to lift a glass. The rooftop bar at Morimoto's Asia offers high-end sake; Raglan Road's Irish pub pours a mean Guinness; wine connoisseurs can head to Wine Bar George, where a master sommelier dispenses a wide range of domestic and imported wines; and House of Blues is the spot for beer.
