Hollywood Studios Grown-Up Tour

At the Studios, movie classics like The Wizard of Oz and Casablanca come to life on the Great Movie Ride, and the best of Disney animation—from Toy Story to Beauty and the Beast—is reborn as park attractions. The old small-screen favorite The Twilight Zone is taken to new heights, and the modern TV phenomenon American Idol goes live.

Find Your Adrenaline Rush

Two words—thrills and chills—define the top two attractions for older kids and adults. Head straight to Sunset Boulevard and grab the thrills at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, where multiple inversions, twists, and turns rock to the tune of "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)." Feel the chills at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, when something goes terribly wrong with your elevator car, and it veers off its ghostly course.

A quick walk to Echo Lake lands you in Wookiee territory, where you can climb aboard the Star Tours flight simulator for a wild flight to the Moon of Endor; 3-D upgrades and more than 50 different ride scenarios increase the thrill factor.

Discover Your Talent

Are you an actor, an artist, a singer, or a midway-game fanatic? If the Citizens of Hollywood Talent Agent doesn't get your number, you can try out your act at one of several park attractions.

At the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! 10 guests are chosen to perform as show extras (arrive early and get noticed). At the American Idol Experience, you can test your pipes in an audition—and maybe even make it onto the show. All those years filling notebooks with doodles might just have been training for the Magic of Disney Animation Academy experience. At Toy Story Midway Mania! join Woody and Buzz for a manic midway ride past moving targets that test your spring-action-shooter mettle.

Learn Tricks of the Trade

Refuel at one of the park's many quick-service stands, let "Mom" serve you meat loaf at the '50s Prime Time Café, or boost your image with a plush booth and a Cobb salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby.

Then head for the Studio Backlot Tour and a look at how filmmakers create special effects. Stroll the Streets of America before queuing up for a seat at the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and a peek at how high-speed vehicle action is shot.

Back at Echo Lake, the '50s Prime Time Café bar is a great place to grab a mojito or margarita before heading to the nighttime extravaganza Fantasmic! That's a wrap.
