This playfully themed Italian restaurant happens to have excellent food. The premise is that you're eating at a home-turned-restaurant owned by an Italian woman. That woman, Mama Della, is played by an actress, whose warmth enhances the experience (as does the serenade by an accordianist, guitar player, and vocalist). The menu features Italian classics like chicken parmigiana and lasagna as well as more ambitious dishes like salmon with fennel sofrito and braised lamb
with eggplant caponata. Outdoor seating on the patio provides a view of the hotel's nightly Musica Della Notte (Music of the Night) opera show.
