Poseidon's Fury
Poseidon's Fury Review
After a long walk through cool ruins guarded by the Colossus of Rhodes, a young archeologist arrives to take you on a trek to find Poseidon's trident. Each chamber you enter looks interesting, and there's a story told in each one, but actually very little happens in most of them. Most of the time your group is simply walking through the ruins until the attraction attempts to bring the entertainment quotient up for the final scene. That comes after you've walked through a water vortex and enter the final hall where, on a 180-degree movie screen, actors playing Poseidon and his archenemy appear. As they shout and point at each other, a memorable fire- and waterworks extravaganza erupts all around you as massive waves crash and scorching fireballs fly. This finale is loud, powerful, and hyperactive. Is it worth the investment of time? Meh. Give it a whirl if you've done everything else.
For people with disabilities: The theater is equipped for assisted-listening devices and is wheelchair accessible. Stay left against the wall as you enter, and position yourself opposite the central podium. In each succeeding section of the presentation, get into the very first row, particularly if you aren't tall.
