Fievel's Playland Review

Based on the Spielberg animated film An American Tail, this playground features larger-than-life props and sets designed to make everyone feel mouse-size. An ingenious collection of massive boots, cans, and other ordinary objects disguise tunnel slides, water play areas, ball crawls, and a gigantic net-climb equipped with tubes, ladders, and rope bridges. A harmonica slide plays music when you slide along the openings, and a 200-foot waterslide gives kids (and a parent if so desired) a chance to swoop down in Fievel's signature sardine can. It should keep the kids entertained for hours. The downside? You might have to build one of these for your backyard when you get home. For people with disabilities: Unfortunately, this ride isn't fully accessible to people using wheelchairs, although an elevator can transport wheelchairs to the top of the waterslide. On hot days, come after supper to avoid waits for the waterslide. Kids will get drenched; stash a bathing suit or change of clothing in a nearby locker.
